Student stamp gives assurance that the property has been inspected within the last 3 years and was found to be safe and suitable for occupation by students. Only properties with a Student Stamp will be advertised by the University Accommodation Office.
When the Council inspects for a Student stamp it looks at fire, electrical, gas and other safety issues. It also covers things such as decor, cleanliness, the need for a desk, chair etc, and access to a wireless internet connection.
